How can we help care leavers 16-18
Bremcare offers accommodation provision for young care leavers who are between the ages of 16 - 18. We know that children who have been in care may not have developed the confidence they need to live independently and this means that the young person will struggle to adapt to their new life as a young adult.

Many young people will have no where to go due to the distinct lack of social housing in the UK and will often end up in a unsuitable B&B with little or no support or sofa surfing with friends.

That's where Bremcare comes in. We are a semi-independent accommodation provider and we ensure that young people are not only given a homely setting to call their own but that they get a personal key worker who will get to know them and support them to find out their needs and wants and what aspirations they have for the future. We help to turn those aspirations into achievements through support, planning and care.

From the moment that a young person walks through our door they are given a warm welcome, introduced to their key worker, the housemates and the property. They'll receive an induction pack and shown to their room. All new care leavers joining us will receive a small welcome toiletry pack including essentials and bath towels. You can read more about how we work on our about us page.

We're passionate about care and we will only ever accept the highest standards of it from our team. All our staff members are just as passionate about care as we are and our core values reflect this.
